Austin+ Hill Country Wedding Venues

From modern farm houses to French-inspired villas, Austin has it all. As a wedding planner, one of my favorite things is to explore wedding venues with my couples. I love hearing the stories and history behind each venue and making sure each couple feels like they’ve found their perfect match for their big day. Take a look at my favorite venues below!
Going for a more modern look? One Eleven East is based in Hutto (about 30 minutes northeast from downtown Austin) and is an award-winning boutique wedding venue. It is an industrial building that is completely customizable with a built in bar, loft, ceremony/reception areas and outdoor courtyard. The natural light in this venue made my jaw drop, and many businesses use this space for styled shoots due to its modern aesthetic.

Looking for a castle on a hill that transports you to the coast of Italy? Villa Antonia may be your cup of tea. The first time I visited this venue, I cried with excitement. Panoramic views of the hill country, rose gardens, and stone archways make this venue absolutely breathtaking. There are plenty of indoor and outdoor options to choose from just in case it rains. Just picture getting married underneath the sparkling lights on the terrace, dancing underneath the stars, and saying your vows overlooking the most magical hills in Texas.

Looking for a rustic, modern farm house? Addison Grove is one of the most charming venues in the Hill Country. It has grande chandeliers, rustic farm tables, and can be transformed into either an indoor or outdoor extravagant experience. You can say your vows under the beautiful oak trees or inside the barn. They even have their own floral design company-Native Bloom that offers stunning work! There are even longhorns in the back lot!

Looking for a secret garden accompanied by waterfalls, sculptures ,and intricate gazebos? The Vista on Seward Hill offers breathtaking hill country views, plenty of space for an indoor + outdoor reception, and Greek-style backdrops. Who doesn’t want a wedding under the stars? Beautiful lanterns and chandeliers illuminate the trees as you say, “I do.” They also offer plenty of chairs, tables and decor options to customize your day.

Looking for a venue smack dab in the middle of the city with lots of history and stunning backdrops? The Allan House is a charming and sophisticated Victorian mansion surrounded by looming oak trees and beautiful gardens. One of the most sought after venues, this property speaks for itself. Surrounded by city lights, this is the PERFECT spot for a picturesque wedding downtown.

If you are looking for a venue in the Hill Country with over 20 acres, Ma Maison is the perfect French-themed location for a big party. There are over 3 outdoor ceremony options and a covered trellis in case of rain. This venue is PURE MAGIC. Walking around, it felt like I was transported to a French villa. The lake is a perfect backdrop for photos!

If you are wanting to get married at that little white church, check out Life Austin Chapel. When I first visited this beautiful church I couldn’t help but sing, “going to the chapel and we’re going to get married!” Talk about the perfect European inspired wedding chapel! The panoramic windows lets so much light in and accommodate up to 300 guests. I witnessed one of the most beautiful sunsets while visiting this quaint little space.

I feel like if Studio McGee were to create a wedding venue, it would look just like The Arlo. Modern and classic, this venue has it all from stunning hill country views to a breathtaking bridal suite. Between the courtyard, the lawn, and the ballroom, there are plenty of options to make this space your own. Did I mention there is a massive beauty bar for getting ready?
